That is so good to hear. Sounds like if you go in with the mindset that you are there to work, work is what you'll get. Thanks for the update. Keep them coming. I'm looking to join them the first week of January. Also, how was your road test after coming in from your time out with a trainer? I've heard mixed reviews / stories. I am looking for fresh insight.
Thanks -
The road test is pretty tight.Just take all the room you need to make the turns. It should not be anything any different than what you will see after being out with a trainer.A couple of the turns you can not make with traffic in the opposite lane, just pay attention the first day if orientation when they go over the road course and you will be fine. The tandems are pretty far back on the test trucks so be aware of that when turning and doing your backing test

Well i made it to finle testing ! i test in the a.m. and hopefully there will be a truck waiting for me ! so far this looks like a prety good co despite what i have read .
All i know is that i need to be out there driving !!! Not making any money just sitting here !
well be safe out there and keep it right side up -
Good luck to you, dont be to shocked if they dont have a truck at the terminal for you.You might have to go somewhere to pick it up.

I hope you have a great experience with the company. As training companies go, it's not a bad place to start. If you get a good fleet manager and work to develop a good rapport with him, you should do great.
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving, and keep the shiny side up! -
Well my 1 year mark is almost here .I still think this is a good co to work for execpt for the general problems that i think all big co have ...ie.break down (joke) , short runs ( to many ) , home time ( missed last 2 ) and my fm who likes to hang up on me when i call in about a problem .
Im still not sure if im going to stay with co passed my 1 year mark, but will give them another chance to prove to me that the last 2 weeks were just a glitch .( 1st week a run of about 600 mls that delevered 5 days latter , then a trip to drop yard to pick up a load that was already delevered stranding me there for 24 hrs ,then week 2 a load that was 663 mls that hade a 5 day time on it .) .
Oh dont forget the new fuel book ( hahaha).
well we will have to see what happens next .
