Ending up this week with 3100. Finally. After almost 5 weeks with less than 2300, but there was a home time in there. And just has the miles are picking up, home time this Sunday for 5 days due to serious Dental Work that needs completed.

07/06-07/12 2775.
About to hit plat. But wife said I needed to take some hometime. Oh well. From 06/11 to 07/12 only had one 34 reset in there and only because the planners put too much time on that load... Get this the 34 was two days before hometime and home was only 75 miles out of route... So I got a 34 at home... Delivered the load then it took a day and half to return home cause of being over gross weigh by 7000lbs on a 120 mile load! Three return trips to shipper and needed a 10 because of it... -
7/17/12 2093 (no apparent reason for this. just getting offered short loads with big windows, or maybe not big windows, but a lot of extra time built into the load.)

7/24/12 1803 miles
Can't figure out what's going on. Is anyone else getting these low miles lately? Every load that Fred has been offered has either had so much time that it takes 4 days to do a 400 mile run, or they want him to drive 900 miles in 10 hours, and he has been turning both of them down. Is it the planners doing this, or is there a computer that doesn't know that Swift's trucks are governed at 62 mph and that DOT (and Swift's safety dept) will get you if you violate HOS? It's like you're ###### if you do and ###### if you don't! Go SWIFT!! Best in Class!! -
June 2012, 10,137 miles. Gonna get back $32 bucks in fuel tax refund too, closest I ever came before was owing $8 bucks or something.
I accepted a 1300 mile run with almost 5 days on it, but asked for a tcall solution as there are up to 4 places along the way to do this. Planner called and said take it to Lathrop for tcall, ummm that's where I am originating from after hometime. Result: 100% deadhead:loaded miles. That sucks for the leased operator. So now I have this other 800 mile run, and will be lucky to do marginally better than staying with the 1300 mile run originally.
Positive thoughts though, will be trying to build some momentum going forward out of hometime and build up some miles for the rest of the month. -
Monday 07/16/12 to Friday 07/20/12: 2,600 Miles, home everynight, now off for my weekend. Drove 8-9 hours a day except one 10.75 hour day
American Truckerscottied67 Thanks this. -
Depending what happens Tuesday morning, either 2800 miles for this week or 32-3300.
