Reefer Rates

The only people who establish the rates is us , thank and pat yourself on the back if your willing to cheat yourself and make nothing! Sorry if this sounds harsh its not meant to be , just being realistic!

 

Container haulers are part of this problem too ! Not all but the majority . Many are from other countries where they only work here to take the american money back for exchange to live a better life in 10 years . They don't care about the industry and what they are doing to it running for scab rates ! This statement is not meant to offend anyone its just the sad truth. This does not mean that people who live here and are from other countries don't have the right to haul and make wages , just not the rates they are taking and causing the industry to starve.

 

You're absolutely right I haul these containers, my truck stays on the yard untill i get a load that pays more than 140.... Making a dollar a mile just wont cut it...

 

I'm hauling containers now locally, some pay decent I'm lucky that I can pick what loads I want to haul.I start to work at 6:00 am and I'm done by 1:00 PM with $500 in my pocket.

 

I start at about 6 and done by 10 with a negative in my pocket...

 

Nevermind......................

Have you looked at First Coast Logistics there in Atlanta?? Percentage pay real straight up honest company.

Yea I think they do or use to operate as All Coast...I ran for their VA office for awhile and did pretty good
