Although there are some companies that just treat some drivers like an easily replacable machine part, I agree with you. Mostly, there are drivers that take no reponsiblity for their situation and blame everyone else. Every company has happy drivers. These are the people the company takes care of because the driver understands " you get out what you put in ".

Why did Knight start training? The answer will surprise you when you figure it out. "You get what you put in?" Is that right? Elaborate on that one.

It's simple, experienced drivers don't put up with the stupid games. There are more good drivers out here than you think. They expect to be run well and paid well. That's it, nothing more nothing less. Knight wants nothing to do with them so with a large pool of potential drivers what does Knight do? They open a training school. The only people on here willing to defend Knight are those who were trained with them, because they don't know any better. Give them a year and they will be gone and onto better companies as well.

I can't count how many times I had to call payroll and ask where my reimbursements were...I even while in Phoenix walked into payroll to ask where's my $$...what do you know..there's the receipts scanned into their system already and they act like oh there it is...just think of thousands of $$$ there stealing from drivers because drivers either don't check payroll or don't have the capabilities to check online since they no longer print paystubs.

I clearly saw what they were doing...that's putting it on their books showing it was paid but never paid to the driver...so they're cheating taxes & pocketing all that extra $$ because they're writing it off as business expense but never actually paying it...

I was on daily pay & I had to call at least 4 times a week to ask where's my $$...that's completely unacceptable. It's not our jobs as drivers to fund their operation...if they don't have the $$$ to operate sufficiently on their own dime , then close down.

They don't have a training school. They do hire drivers out of school who have never drove before or drivers who are getting back into driving after some time off, myself included.

Not here to tell you how horrible Knight is. All of these fortune billion dollar companies are all the same. I did turn my badge in yesterday sweet and clean. It's like being with a good looking woman who steals your $. Then her character shows u what she really is. Then u cut the sh## off. I will be back to explain my experience with Knight. Watch your paycheck with a Hawk's eye. Document everything. New drivers, train your dispatcher. Don't be afraid to say f### no.

You have to understand that you are the driver. No one else drives the profits except you driver.

i really thought I was the only one its so bad I couldnt take it then soon as you say you quit the magically find you loads to get there trk straight to there terminal, which happens to bring you thru your house but they don't expect you to stop there oh no then tell you, you have to load there 80 miles from home to terminal. that's so they can put quit under load on your dac and with hold your last check, if you have one lol

found out why they brag about being debt free yeah cause the drivers are paying for everything with what they steal from them, and its mandatory 30 day per diem that's illegal, then. they try to force you to stay on per diem and if you don't they don't give you miles to try and make you change your mind when it only benefits them. since when do i have to pay you to take Per diem. They are a joke!!
