My son drives for Swift. He made 28 cents last week. Thats right, 28 cents. He spends more time sitting in some town waiting for a trip. Sometimes 3 days at a time. He is a new solo driver but I don't think this is normal. Is it ????

No it is not normal. Sounds like he wasn't trained well enough at all. He needs someone to go over in detail the qualcom so his status always shows correctly. He needs to talk to his Driver manager or leader and find out what he is doing wrong to be sitting for 3 days. He needs to be respectful when he talks to them. They tend to give a deaf ear when hollered or screamed at, and he will just sit longer.

Fred was told that Mac 10 was going to become obsolete at some point in the future. Anyone else heard that, and if so, when?

CharlieO, tell him to stay away from personal advances on the Com checks if at all possible. They will make you feel like you're always working for free.

 

Yes I heard that when my 4 or 5 weeks without a reset and elogs going by the minute and macro we send everyday disagreed putting me over my 70 for a couple days....pod safety guy said he didnt care and cant wait to get rid of the mac 10 soon....i think thats why they having us approve our logs every night.....they starting to depend on that for planning more now....not mac 10....my 2cents....
