Somewhere in V-something.
I lost all track when I had to get fuel.
At my last empty call I entered a fuel level of 0.
Zero, nada, I'm empty.
So with my next load I am expected to drive around 160 miles before I fuel.
So I get the load and head to a Flying J, and from there I park it and call for fuel.
Once that happens (another story) I pull around to the fuel island.
I get yelled at for sitting in an area that is marked 'No Parking' waiting to pull into a lane because every lane is 2-3 deep in trucks.
So I pull behind a truck to take my turn.
And I wait. And I wait.
And, I wait.
Not moving.
Then I see a truck in the lane next to me pull in front of the truck in front of me.
???? WTF?
There is no driver in the truck in front of me.
It was then that I got out and checked. Yup, no one in the truck. The driver had gone inside.
He came out just as the cut-in truck finished fueling, and he seemed upset that someone pulled in front of him.
I had just gotten out of my truck to go inside to complain about a driver holding up the lane and saw him coming back to his truck.
When I asked him about it he told me he had to get money for fuel.
I said something about 'park it and do that, so you don't hold up the whole line'. He just ignored me.
So he finally pulls up to fuel, only to get out again to go inside.
I guess he had to use his Comcheck to pay for the fuel.
He eventually comes back out and gets fueled, but the cut-in truck is still sitting there. So we wait several more minutes before we can move.
I was only getting 50 gallons to get me to my real fuel stop.
It took over an hour.
Good night from...

Currently at Gary waiting for my ride, got here about 0330 so decided to just take a nap in the truck. Off until Wed, hopefully we head west from here, been up to CT 4 times in two weeks and not to happy about it.scottied67 Thanks this. -
Currently having a problem with delivery-- no bill of lading on file for the load. It (the loaded trailer) was originally put on a rail car and shipped then picked up by a Swifty and tcalled at the terminal. I made delivery around midnight last night but was refused due to no BOL. We broke the seal and looked inside, nada. So I just went around the corner and went to bed because I have another load to go get this AM. Received a message to just make out a handwritten BoL using all the pertinent information as there is nothing to fax in from Swift's end.
As reported on my previous load, I had come close to running out of time so stopped at a place for trucks. All the spots were taken so I parked adjacent to the fire lane and went to bed after 10:42 hours of driving. Around midnight I hear banging on my door I figured security was kicking me out of my spot. Turns out to be a local Swifty from Fontana to repower my load. I had both my phone and qualcomm on silent so didn't know all this was happening.inkeper Thanks this. -
Jackson, MS. Still just plugging along. Now in the morning, big decision, go as far as Villa Rica or Temple for the afternoon, or take a chance and go all the way to Fairburn and hope that there is a parking place still. I know at the other two there will be no problem finding a place, and then only have 40 miles to drive in the morning. Still have until noon to get there. 390 miles or 350 miles, decisions, decisions.

Got to see Scottie for a few seconds in Hurricane UT, had to split for next load...
Currently in Bever, Ut for the night. Going to Denver on a real tight time wise load... And of course they loaded it on a 14' tall trailer... Gotta go over Dwight's tunnel instead of through it...scottied67 Thanks this. -
I hate to push things too far when I need to shut down. It's too easy to push it too far and violate the log.
I'm in Laurel, MS.
I had just enough time to make it to Hattiesburg for my delivery tomorrow morning, but decided to stop ~40 miles short where there are 2 truck stops - just to be sure.
I'll expend an extra hour of tomorrows time, but I was sure to not run into a log violation.
Plus, I only have 13 hours left on my 70 with no hours rolling in for the next 2 days. -
Columbus terminal.....got no hrs now 10.25 for tommorrow....them planners use all my time now usually with elogs...its great

I don't like all my hours spent.
I like a couple hours leeway.
Plus-1 seems to always try to run me into a wall.
I hate that. -
Winnemucca, NV on the way to Montebello, CA then on to Phoenix. When I'm east I can't seem to get out of there but when I'm northwest where I want to be there isn't enough freight to stay. I'm going to head for Laredo so I can pick up my mail in SA, meet my new dm in person and get a load(s) to Ellensburg, Wa so I can take a few days hometime for trout fishing.
Frankscottied67 Thanks this.
