Delivered last night at McLane... don't like that place... They don't let you in until your appt. time and you have to wait in line outside and can't be late... But I got there right on time, there were many other drivers and they all had the same time appointment as mine... but I was the first one to be sent to a dock... :yes2557: Just don't know how that happened. Then, had a p/up in New Orleans, LA. Thought I would have to park for 10 hrs on the shoulder in front of business but thankfully I was wrong! Still had over 3 hrs available to drive...:yes2557: Now I'm at this HUGE rest area in AL and going to KY. No trucks when I got here. Will leave at midnight and drive all night. Gotta take my 34 this weekend before next p/up in KY and then going to NE!!! Yeah!! And then, maybe west coast... Man it's hot here... :biggrin_2555: I already washed myself with water from my cooler and my gallon but had to cook some soup in the truck and now eating... Now I am sweating... REALLY!! Have one of my doors open for more ventilation but will have to turn A/C on to be able to sleep for the rest of today. Oh... time to go to bed. :biggrin_25518:

50 working hours and 15 driving hours this week=one tired teddy bare.......err, bear (just for Bumpers)

The sad part is that at the end of each day, I still had about 2-3 hours work left to do. Thankfully the dispatcher will be back Monday, and I can concentrate on my own work. Have a couple drivers get highly miffed with my dispatching for Monday loads. I did just what the boss said to do; copy the load sheet from last Monday. Like I told 'em......I'm not a dispatcher, I just play one when the real one is on vacation. Funny thing is, the boss basically told them the same thing.

I'm home alone tonight enjoying the semi peace and quiet. My folks came back for a short visit, and my 3 kids (meow, purr) don't like their kid (ruff, woof). None of the 4 are eating, and 2 of mine won't come out of hiding. I stayed up way too late last night visiting with my dad, and I'm paying for it now. It's all I can do to keep my eyes open and it's note even 1700 yet.

One of my 2 fave drivers shared some awesome news with me today. His cousin won the gold medal in the Men's 1500 Meter Run. He was so excited, and I don't think he told anybody else that we work with. I was so happy hearing how excited he was to tell about it.

Marvin, you might need some time off if you think you miss the NE money laundry.
