ALMOST into Iowa and D.O.T gives me a 10 hour timeout... forgot to go from line one to line 3... I'm an idiot, its official. Found a hiding spot with him on my backdoor a few minutes ago, then cited for an HOS violation. that's 2, when I retire my record will look like trash.

 

sigh left my nice recliner in monee to deliver in tomah wi then on to worthington mn
only to get load repowered who knows why so i sit in tomah waiting
on my third 10 hour break in 36 hours and DM wonders why i'm cranky
good news is truck is clean windows washed you know
I gave up and put in for hometime 10 weeks is apparently enough i need an attitude adjustment

In Boise Idaho. On my first trip as a o/o.I have seven stops here then off to Washington. My truck started blowing blue smoke last night. Hope I don't need a rebuild which is probably the case with 850,000 mi. To top it off I had a smoke test done and they forgot to put the oil stick back in. I'm using a cloths hanger to try and judge my oil level. Any better ideas let me know!!

Publix Dist Center Lakeland, FL stop number 7 and the last one for today..

 

Bridgewater MA, at the NB service plaza on MA24. Got one case of rejected beef. No hours to find a food bank, and a new load picking up in the early AM. This is prime beef, just a mangled cardboard case with a little blood on it. Nothing wrong with the product. I'll keep as much as I can, but I really hate these days when I end up pitching perfectly good product.

Grew up back in the days when momma put a really huge case of a guilt trip on ya for wasting food...

 

Guymon, OK waiting on Seaboard. Have to be east of Omaha by 9:00 a.m. tomorrow. We'll see.
