-insert name- do you have to strap the loads at Alcoa? Once I substituted for a guy in the Alcoa account for a week... Didn't know they expected me to strap (and unstrap) the loads while at the dock inside building...I asked for help to strap... Being a little 98 lbs lady, I didn't have all the power necessary to do it right and quickly... Alcoa guys where not happy about it and neither was I.

Dropped the trailer and got some dinner, also hit Corona Cigar to replenish my stock.. -
Hey Pete, I know a driver from Guatemala who cooks and bakes his everyday bread in the truck.
He has a power inverter and a bread machine.

I've been so tired and worn down this past week. I haven't felt like doing much this weekend, although we did go to my hubby's family reunion yesterday. We were both beat after that, but I was getting very concerned about the hubby. Once he got home and settled down for a couple hours he seemed to be better and today he is mostly back to himself and taking it easy.
I forgot I have to take Friday off to take him to the doctor. Wasn't planning 2 weeks of 4-10's, but I'll do what needs done. I've been kind of anti-social, mainly because I'm so tired and have been going to bed before the sun is down.
Glad to hear everyone seems to be doing well. I'm going to be heading off to see those sheets in a short time. Take care and be safe everyone.
Giggles the Original and Eaton18 Thank this. -
As long as it's a paying job Teddy Bear things could be worse!
Another a bit over $500 weekend repairing something on my truck. Hard to get a leg up when that happens! -
i'm not sure if what you were driving is GM or not, but if it is.. a trick to the fuel pump is tapping the underside of the fuel tank directly below where the fuel pump would be... they still have a little life in them.. only enough to get you to safety though..

I'm not complaining, Dave. I just forgot about having to take a day off this week, and next week is my normal week of working evenings. The week after that is another short one because of the holiday, so I have to get all my hours in over the 4 days.

No Mitch. My ride is a RAM with a Cummins baby! Seems like every motor after the old mechanical pump 12 valve has some sort of piss poor lift pump.
Mine did last to nearly 300K miles.....
And I'm going back on a 2 stroke fuel oil additive program.
I did it for a long time when low sulphur diesel came about. And I haven't been doing it because of 5% bio.
But I intend to have this truck for years yet, and 2 stroke oil is a relative bargain in longevity. -
well, as long as it isn't a Ford then it'll most likely last forever, ya still would have come out better with a GM. But hey, no one's perfect, even Jesus turned water into wine instead of Jim Beam. I guess people just naturally go with what they know.
