I survived the detour on I-65 in IN yesterday. That...was not fun.

 

I survived the 24-mile backup on I80 in PA tonight. Discretion is the better part of valour though... peeled off at the Milesburg exit and found a parking place instead of continuing on. I imagine the truckstops at Lamar will be well beyond overflowing.

been a long fruitless day cancelled my hometime when they tried to send me home 300 miles away and 3 days earlier then i asked for the idjets
then ran down the road picked up a load that while i was in picking up the paperwork they cancelled
now i sit in the parking lot in north east pa while they cant figure out how i am hooked to a load they cancelled but Roberts loaded..... sigh

 

interesting ....lol

 

i guess i only think i have 40000 lbs of jelly in my box
they tried to send me home without enough miles for the week to cover my lease
they really just dont care they need a slap too

Heading back out in the morning. Have to, after going to the eye doctor today. One new pair of glasses and frames. Progressive bi-focal, transition lenses with anti-glare, anti-scratch, anti-charging elephant....I always get 'em fully loaded.

Anyone care to take a stab at the total bill with the exam? Between my insurance and FSA account, I paid $72 today. But you wanna take a shot at the total bill?
