As with any business, Its very hard to stop a company from taking over another if they really want to. USA can only hold them off for so long, I think eventually Celedon will convince enough stockholders to sell out to them and portray a beautiful picture for them to sell. In the end, the stockholders are only in it to make money, thats why they become stockholders, Its not like they are in love with USA or whatever company they might hold stock for. Once Celedon shows them the numbers that they like it wouldnt be much of a problem completing the deal. Maybe things would get better with the takeover, maybe they will get worse or stay the same. I just think that USA is trying to delay the inevitable. I dont think they would have bought the stock that they have already if they werent pretty sure that it would happen one way or another, the only question now is the timeframe.

Last year Celadon purchased 6% of USA Truck common stock, then sought merger talks with USA Truck. These talks were rebuffed. To the best of my knowledge anything you hear other then this is speculation and rumor.
