Where are you

This is where I parked yesterday evening near New Orleans... I slept with the sound of the crickets... really. In the middle of the night another truck came but left before me. In the morning, I went inside the casino (only business in that place) to use the restroom... It had bars around the entrance, security guard and locked door. Saw one customer at 7 am... Went to Walmart DC in Brookhaven, MS and they sent me back to this mess in New Orleans.... 2 deliveries today, one in Mandevile and another in Harvey... Delay getting info from my company today, problems with load and delays at both docks wasted my time... At my last stop, after waiting for hrs for them to vacate the only dock available, I dropped trailer at the dock as WM DC instructed me and as store person told me. Then, as I was unhooking, a WM driver arrived and told me "OH NO... You will not drop that here.." "Really?!" I said as I continued to unhook... I was getting soooo mad with all the crap I put up with today... I left anyway and hooked to an mpt trailer. Now parked at this small Walmart store... soooo small... if a truck comes by may have to move my truck back and forth... We shall see. A Swift truck ran over the curb, and damaged the bushes trying to park in a corner.....

 

well i am glad...hmmmm i hadnt noticed that....guess that means i am awesome huh?? JUST KIDDING....

 

Indianapolis, IN - been here since Friday. Hopefully will not be here until Tuesday but we'll see. I at least for a 34 out of it.

 

At home about to go strip out a starter from an old lawn tractor and replace the bad starter on the newer lawn tractor....both are Briggs & Stratton engines, and the starters appear to be the same....old engine is 20.0 HP, the newer is 17.5 HP....we'll see!

Deliver Tues morning bay area east....decision will be when to leave for delivery.

 

Back at the little shack in the swamp, ah Florida.

Had my first cup of coffee on the porch, Miss MiMi our cat always enjoys coming out and getting the before sunrise patrol.

As I was setting smoking my 4am cig she gets to chasing something in the dark, slap on my forehead is a tree frog she was playing with.

Have to love it.

 

getting settled in our 5th wheel....ahhhhhh slept like a rock lastnight...with no truck bouncing down the road....cooked dinner and breakfast..woohooooo real food that tasted good....soooooo happy to be off the road

I made it back to MI. Nice to see blue sky again. got tired of being down there in Rain soaked MS.

 

I always seem to end up with a dog butt RIGHT ON MY FACE in the middle of the night unless I "accidently" locked him out, or I'm sleeping in the truck...
