That which is seen can never be unseen..... where is the bleach?
Slow Arse day in hotshot land. Ran some distance for the first one and not so much distance or weight for number two.
Did get the trailer tire replaced and the low one checked out and aired up.

I am back at this fuel station in GA. This is how it looks during the day. At night it will be complete darkness for they close and there are no lights here at all.
Took this other picture in New Orleans, La. I was parked at the only free truck stop in the area near this NASA Assembly Facility.

Back home for the night. Only had 2 loads to Newton. I'm getting real tired of that place. They can not grasp that it is very difficult for an end-dump to dump on ground that is not level. But wait... It's even more difficult when you're suppose to dump uphill. I could not get my bed to go up to the last stage, which is when the majority of the material slides out. I was running the RPMs at 1500-1600, speeds which could damage the PTO. Finally I rolled forward, to where the bed was level, and my trailer was not higher than the tractor. Bed went up without a problem, material came out. I figured if they (the people at this B.S. asphalt plant) were going to give me static about dumping where I did, I just might end up in jail for stopping them into a mudhole.
I load in the morning with CKD (kiln dust) at Chanute, to be delivered to Amarillo, TX Thursday at 8 am. At least I will not have to load at O-dark-thirty...
I have all day tomorrow to get there.

Am I going to be the only truck parked at this dark fuel station tonight? I don't think so. But nobody arrived yet. It's ok. I'm not leaving truck tonight. Curtains are closed, cooked my meal... I am just fine inside here, my closet on wheels...
Eaton18 and teddy_bear6506 Thank this.
