How do i use the bunk heater in my pete..it works if my truck is on but soon as i cut my truck off it cuts off

 

I believe the key has to be in the run or acc position(counterclockwise from off). I had an operating manual in the glovebox for the bunk heater, radio, camera and the truck itself. Might check that if you have it.

 

how is the training with Arnold? you go out with a trainer for 3 or 4 weeks? how long was orientation? are they mainly east coast? at orientation how was the driving test?

So far, so good. Been busy the last couple weeks. Had my first close encounter of the worst kind when an elderly couple pulled straight off the shoulder in front of me while doing 65 on the interstate. Thank Science for ABS or they would be inanimate right now. I had very minor cosmetic damage and they were able to drive away, but let me tell you, Arnold was supportive and since the car was cited, I was cleared.
Got a big run from TX to FL this weekend. My Coleman 12v cooler power cord stb so I am using ice old school. 6 months with no weight gain and no major problems, insurance is great, detention and layover paid. I get home 3 weekends a month and my goal is after a year to get a 2014 condo Pete and a dedicated FL account. Be safe and be kind to each other. We're all we've got.

 

NSB your post was great, just finished reading all 13 pages of it from start to finish. Got a call from Arnold today and from your post I hope I get selected. I currently have an offer and a bus ticket from Western Express, but if Arnold makes me an offer soon enuf, you make it sound like it is worth switching. I am a recent CDL school grad and this will be my first job. Thanks for the post and the info, it has been EXTREMELY helpful. Keep it up and keep us posted, this is the best read I've had in a while.
