Glad that you made it safe and sound. Now a little exercise, and then some sleep.

 

Came upon a laid over truck about 10-15 miles east of TX NM state line on US 54... Happened 2 or 3 mins before I showed up. Middle of nowhere, flat as can be. More likly driver hit the shoulder, got sucked in and over corrected. Anyone who says truckers don't stop and help each other out are full of it. About 5 trucks were parked helping out, before EMS showed up.

The driver or passenger (not sure which), was laying on the pavement on her side all sorts of blooded up.
Real sobering seeing this. Didn't notice till it was already in my rearview mirrors, but it was a fellow Swift driver. Kinda hit my gut into a knot for the rest of the day. Let your loved ones know you give a crap next time you speak with them.

Sapp's Salt Lake City UT. Had a live unload and a half mile away a live load. This ate up a little over 2 hours so I decided to do an 8 hour split break as I hate the swing shift. 2 stop live unloads down in Los Angeles Friday morning, here's hoping there's a load out of town for the whole weekend when I get there!

here in cartersville, GA. Ran outta hours here. Had to re-power this load. The customer decided that they needed this product tonight and not the scheduled time in morning, and I did just not have the hours. If they did not take over 3 hours to load me, then it would have been there tonight. Well, lost 90 miles on the load, but now, get to sleep in in the morning. Mac 30, and grapped a conway load, knoxville to houston. Del no later that 0330 on Monday morning, and if I figure out the hours correct and do not have any major delays, will be there on Sunday and reload on Monday. Hoping that I could have done a 34, but 2 hours short of getting that done.
