Last I heard Mercer will only take trucks on from 97' or newer.
-
i believe they dropped that. not positive but thats what i heard. i know landstar now required an.electronic motor for their eobr. i would put in an early electronic motor if i did it.
-
I had heard they dropped that as well, or made exceptions to it.
-
in my experience with old trucks most will make exceptions when shown its essentially a "new" old truck. personally id rather pay $80k for a real nice old pete then one of these new throw away trucks.

bayou , at my 75 per cent my last loads have been as follows, 2.43 a mile, 3.47 a mile, 2.59 a mile, 2.69 a mile, 2.13 a mile, and the next one i i have booked is 1.94 a mile, then 2.39 a mile and the only one over 20,000 pounds was the 2.13 a mile load. now figure no ifta taxes and under their authority, and i get paid within just a few hours of each delivery, i can handle that. the deadhead between those loads were 65 miles, 105 miles, 70 miles, 10 miles, and then 200 miles i reloaded in savannah and went home is the reason for that 200 miles dh, i just deadheaded from corpus christi to houston for the 1.94 a mile load 23,000 pounds of stainless pipe to wi
as has been said mercer is a different one on brokering loads, most of what you see on the broker board is what we wont pull or no one can get to. other outfits agents will broker before they give it to a lease truck because they make more money.*ZERO*, horsecrazychic22 and fivestar Thank this. -
, in cases like that in the past with when i was leased somewhere and got the account the outfit would give me the agents commission in addition to my lease rate, i am sure these folks would do the same thinghorsecrazychic22 Thanks this.
