wow what a long day, all 7 stops in and around Miami are off will be reloading in Winter Garden tomorrow..

 

That's were I park as well. I'm in Winnimucca NV tonight. Caught a cold while at home last week, was a rough day today. My head feels like its going to pop, I don't like taking cold and flu tablets when driving so I just put up with it until I shutdown for the day . Popped two night time pills so will be out like a light soon. Load delivers in Lodi CA on Wednesday , so will sleep in in the morning and take an easy day down there tommorow.

 

im the same way i left home on wensday and the kids just went back to school so i get a cold finally cleared up but man it makes for a long day.

this reminds me of a story...(you being in Oregon)..few years back we stopped at Jubitz..and took the truck off the board for the weekend (means we werent avail for dispatch for those who dont know)....got a room there..and went down to the lounge...and proceeded to get "happy"....we were drinkin pitchers of beer and doing shots....well the waitress finally said..." i cant serve you anymore so you dont end up drunk"....i cracked up laughing..and said..."too late...i already am..that happened a while back"...well she wouldnt serve us anymore even tho i told her our room number and everything and told her we were off for the weekend...we werent even gonna BE IN THE TRUCK period....but shift change was almost up....and the next waitress helped us resume the party....had a blast that night...had a whirlpool suite to go back to...CB was a little rowdy headed back up to the room..i wont tell on him, but he had everyone cracking up....

is just terrible place for an OTR truck had to get 2 trucks to move to get backed in
and 2 to get out and another one in the circle to turn around
door 4 has a big steel beam beside it a driver had to hold the door flat against the trailer for me to get in and out
enough of fla for a while just a typical nj day i suppose.......sigh

Waiting for my "pre-loaded" trailer.....[why would they need to wait for a tractor to be under the trailer (not hooked) in order to "pre-load?]

So...at approximately 1300 (maybe 1255) they will start loading my "pre-loaded" load destined for Rocklin, CA....this will be a drop delivery!

Then...the run around Sacramento for an MT game begins!!!! OH JOY, OH JOY!!!!!!!

 

I've done a few decent paying runs so far.
But sitting here with a 14# package for an airline and nothing else on the horizon just now.

Hard to work up any motivation....

 

Some PEElot about half way between Louisville KY and Evansville IN. Was in Louisville - I remember that, need to be in Evansville tonight - pointed in the right direction. Just can't remember where the hooey this place is. Must be all them yompers I was puttin' up with this morning!

 

Was at the company main terminal again today... took care of some things and had a very good meeting with a corporate person. Ran some errands and now at the hotel room, getting motivated to do some bookkeeping (that I hate)... But the earlier I start, the earlier I will finish...

 

So close to Montreal I can smell the potine, baby sitting load number two.

Great thing is it drops 10 miles from my house!
