Where are you

Ok first, TAPete, nope, my dad was 72, when he passed away a few years ago. Also I can say up until he reached 50, he was not scared of hard work. However after that he went to crap. He is a motivating factor, I don't want to end up like him, very sedentary, and well, morbidly obese.

While tugging a rock bucket is more physical than a box, it's still not nearly as physical as flatbed.

Well today it was 2 rounds to Newton hauling Man-Sand. Guess what happened today?...........

NOTHING!!!

Yep, nothing unusual. Made it back to pre-load rock to take to Great Bend in the morning..

2 stick and no power steering
the loader in the pit was more fun

 

Sanford NC... dropped my trailer in a door, no empties. No night unloading crew. Typical Tyson load.

sitting in portland me loading up my last load of trash heading for old town me to the shop then gotta finish cleaning out the truck and get ready to go OTR flatbedding starting monday

just got home from another fun filled trip to Florida....

Miami still sucks in case anybody is wondering.

 

Didn't leave the hotel room today.... Sunny and nice outside but I wasn't very ambitious to go anywhere... and then... where? Had no ideas... Was planning on sleeping 8 hrs but cleaning lady knocked on my door at 8:30 this morning.... only 6 hrs after I went to bed... Told her, the place is still pretty clean (I am very neat)... don't need any cleaning... and went back to bed. Took a nap after lunch today.... Maybe I find a meeting to go this evening... so I can get to see people and talk to people before I go back on the road and the solitude of the truck.... well... I like solitude.... and that's why I am a OTR truck driver!

 

at the HOUSE!!!...saw a Sammons Tractor on the way down, think i'ma look into them..
