I believe he is including the money he makes off the other driver. Also, he may have figured out something we haven't yet. My life has taken some different paths. I have been accused of being 90% BS at times. I am not. Don't rush to judge without having all the facts.

Some areas in the oil fields in ND bring in $10k a month. But they work way more than the 7/7 schedule. More like... 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off.

 

There's owner ops making $5600/wk working 70 hours on, most of it spent in the truck in the fracking areas.

 

Maveric, TMC, Boyd Bro's, Melton, all flat bed, home for 34 hour at least most weekends. Roehl most divisions have regional home for weekend(34 hours) company I work for in Il. home weekends, there are plenty jobs that you are home weekends but you have to look. You can't just settle. There are so many companys, like 300,000 plus so the job you want will be out there but it won't come to you, put in the effort to find it. And you can make decent money being home weekends, I did 40,000 my first year and will do more this year. Not doing this to brag but to let you know you don't have to be gone all the time to make a living.
