Home. Got here about 18:15. Dispatch Chickie calls as I am about to be at a place I was told to go and says I'm about to send you an SDV run. I said problem is I am not sure I can get back to SDV in time. She says she'll see about reschedule for the morning.
I almost did get back... brought a pallet of bolts home with me. Have two in the morning but one is "supposed" to be ready at 9 with a 10 cutoff. SDV will CERTAINLY mess that up!
Anyhow I almost have this chickie trained..... -

Managed to get unloaded in Catoosa before it started raining. Then loaded fertilizer in the rain. Hauled butt for Republic, Ks. Had to stop for fuel, didn't make it before they closed. The 3hrs it took to load at Port of Catoosa didn't help.
So I'm sitting in this one-horse town waiting for them to open. -
One thing I don't like... when the driver parked next to me smokes like a non-stop active chimney.
Darn smell impregnates my cab... Took my big melon to the sink at Pilot and cut it in pieces and put it in my container for later consumption... Having now a delicious fruit salad with plain Greek yogurt and honey. Don't feel like cooking, I'm tired and it's hot... Think I may just have a salad of some raw vegetables and some beans before I go to bed...
Hey TPete, hope you get some nice rest at home.... you going home, right?

Bradford, Pa broke down. Waiting on repower and a tow truck back to Bufflo. Lesson learned. If the DEF light and check engine light come on, don't let the guy tell ya it needs to do a Regen and it'll do it once it starts pulling a good hill.
