1. Yes..even when I had real "students"...rookies....just like the drunk who doesn't get hurt in the crash, the same "relaxed" body by being asleep will stand a better chance of reduced damage by being asleep! Here, they are "new hires on training trip"...DHE requires 18 months experience.

2. Close...1 of 3 isn't a passing grade though....DHE, not CRE!

3. No "mill" here...recruitment hasn't been doing so well lately....could have something to do with I-5 90%+ of the time!

Back home....trying to get out of the dog house.

I learned something this weekend. Do NOT, under any circumstance, leave your house knowing that no one will be there for 3 days without checking to see where your four cats are. Turns out I locked two of them in our bedroom. One was in the window behind the blinds, the other under the bed. But wait....there's more...

"Under-the-bed" cat does what she must do-do. Namely, use our bed for a litter box. $200 foam mattress topper shot. But the other cat....somehow...whilst attempting to maneuver around the sill, managed to pull the window down, thereby trapping herself between the window and the screen. It's an older window that actually works pretty well, and will slide down easily. She was stuck there for two-plus days.

Both cats are fine. Me? Being a very.....VERY....good little husband for the remaining 16 hours I'm here.......
