on the left in the passing lanes..

one rollover and one jacknife after mont eagle before Chattanoga
really kills a 14 but that was the good side east bound
westbound was standstill from I75 to I59 on 24
what 16 miles maybe?

HEY! Anybody in Carlisle, PA? There are still some parking spots at this FJ... But probably not for too long. Gotta do some paperwork now. And then take a shower and transflo my trips... And then have my supper... and then go to bed... P/up tomorrow about 20 mins from here.

i saw 5 of our trucks stuck in the traffic nightmare in Chattanoga
musta been at least one trying to get to buckhead

 

Yeah TPete... mad mad mad... it's getting a little mad here... truck stop is full and drivers now trying to find... or make all kinds of spots to park their trucks at this hr... I always get amazed when I see them backing into very tight spots... I was transferring my elog to my paper log when I saw a driver... and had to stop to observe him doing a blind side backing between two trucks in the dark with not much room in front.... he didn't get out and look and he stopped his trailer about 1 or 2 inches far from the other trailer on his back... AMAZING!! PERFECT JOB!!! HE IS A REAL TRUE DRIVER!!!

Well... I waited too long and now there is a big line for showers.... So, I will have my supper now and shower later after everybody goes to bed.

I cleaned all my windows, mirrors etc.... and now the rain is coming... Will prepare a salad to have with my brown rice and leftovers I cooked 2 days ago. No reason to spend lots of $$$$ at the restaurant when I can have some nice healthy meal right here, in the truck.

 

still in Buffalo, this should be my last night.. they got my truck to do a regen this morning which is good, but they couldn't get the codes to clear.. Dispatch thought i'd have it back by tonight and dispatched me on a load. Then about an hour later the service guy came and told me i should get a room because they can't get the codes to clear and it'll be morning before they can get cummins on the phone to help with it.. so here i lay. Already called dispatch and had them take that load off of me. I know she better pull like a mule and run like a scolded dog when i get her back.. Oct is going to be a long month behind this break down.

 

I'm now learning more about the tractors and what parts are needed for them. I'm learning about glider kits, lift gate chargers, ordering wiper blades, light bulbs, glad hands. I'll know as much about these trucks as the drivers do...LOL
