Well, Pete, there are a couple I think I already may know more than they do
I'm now responsible for ordering the parts needed for the tractors, and setting up the maintenance needed for them. Trailer maintenance issues are pretty easy, but we have more than one brand of tractor, so I have to know who has what and what is required for each of them. I'm making contacts throughout the company and learning who to talk to about what is needed.
Where are you

mini novel....
This morning after the meeting I was out back and got a text about a load.
Went inside to ask about weight and whether I could do the load without trailer.
So I am at that place loading some 45 minutes later and get a call asking if I had the trailer...
SAME girl. Doh!
Anyhow drop that stuff at SDV go hook trailer and go to the load place.
Dispatch says HAZ and 4670#. Ran around like chicken with head cut off looking for hazmat paperwork.
THEN get a BOL that says empty and 1500#
Took off. When getting unloaded am informed that with the plackards and labels attached to the totes if I had been stopped there would have been trouble.
Dodged a bullet!
Now under a tree outside SDV waiting on dispatch #3.....
