Good night from...

Well it's 22 hrs ive been off duty waiting for a load. When does layover pay begin? 24hrs after my PTA or 24hrs after empty call? If it was t for HOS I woulda had my PTA right away after my empty call.

Also, why does anyone ever put anything within walking distance of truck stops? Today's been one of the most boring since I started.

Im just frustrated after only running 600 miles in the last 4 days...

 

After that disaster delivery in New Jersey, picked up a load going to a customer I had been to before so the stress level went way down. On the way to deliver got a preplan picking up same place going to another customer I had been to before in Memphis yay.

The evil genius Plus 1 gave me 25 hours to do 790 mile run, live load, live unload, live load again (same shipper/receiver) and turn and burn for Memphis Sunday morning which looked like an 8 hour break would accommodate without a pretrip, fuel, or bathroom breaks. But since I don't really have any respect for delivery times anymore I didn't let that stop me from accepting the loads lol. I made delivery and asked about my next load going to Memphis in the morning, the guy said it might be loaded in the morning lol.

So that didn't break my heart because being as late as it is, I hate trying to find parking with a trailer so was able to bobtail out. I get to sleep in, get a big fat sit down breakfast, get my flu shot tomorrow morning and stock up on Walmart crap next door then mosey on over to the shipper.

I totally forgot to mention the other day Abby and I were at the Iowa 80, they have a puppy wash basin there, for $5 bucks you get 10 minutes to scrub a dub your pup. The switch has several settings like Shampoo, Conditioner, Blow Dry, and the one we really liked was DeSkunk.

 

The real question, is the hose long enough to deskunk the interior of the truck?

Gary terminal takin a 34 cause planners seem to think I will run the load I just tcalled 132 miles ? Nope mise well take a 34 and start fresh for Monday. Anyone here from frank ? haven't seen him post in awhile

 

Grand Island, NE. Nice lite 7700K load, flat lands and a little tailewind, pulled in and looked at the QC, 10.3mpg. Hope that it stays this way the whold trip. Then if so, purchasing 120 gals of fuel today will end up being too much unless I can get this off on Tuesday and get something short that I can get rid of on Wednesday, that is if I can get this off on Tuesday. Will know in the morning when I call them.

 

home... called dm twice and left messages about work tomorrow but havent heard back. until then ill just watch the 9er game and kick back

 

I'm at home in Flint, MI. Got my pta set for tomorrow 10/8 @ 11:00am. I got a pre-plan tonight pickup in Brownstown, MI (Likely Sams load) from 10:00 to 17:30 and deliver in Mukegon, MI @ 21:30. I got this pplan @ 17:57.
