I've never had WI BBQ will have to give it a try sometime...Seems like I remember a really good A&W up that way that had truck parking, first rate cheese curds in that place..

 

Ocala, FL hanging out until I make another drop at 0600 tomorrow, then up to Gainesville for the final...

After Gainesville dispatch says up to the Big A for a reload back to Fogelsville, PA.

 

It has been an ugly, dark, cold and rainy day here in NC.... I've spent most of the day today inside this cold truck.... Went to WalMart and did my groceries...

 

Here in SC as well. Was really gonna get out and walk a bit....new shoes and all....and it's been dank and dreary all day.

 

I don't know about you all... but I miss the summer already. Bought me some foot warmers today for my cold feet... They get so cold at night that I can't sleep...

 

still sitting at the port waiting to get loaded.. was number 8 in line, but wash ticket was 1hr expired by the time i made it in the bay so i had to go get it washed again.. that burnt six hours, got back and waited in line again.. now i'm in the bay getting loaded.. expect to be in Canada sometime early morning and hopefully i can get an empty to drop over at the tank wash and grab a clean out of there.. they want me to reload here again tomorrow afternoon..

the good news is that i have a monster (actually two of them) in the fridge so we're burning the midnight oil tonite!!!!!!!

Truck is showing 78 in Ocala.....

I might sit outside in my beach chair, smoke a ceeeeeeee-gar, and watch the steering wheel holders run 40mph thru the fuel stop parking lot....good times

 

Left at 3am this morning, went to Chanute, loaded dust. Made it to the delivery site at 7:01am (1-min late). Then the superintendent had me wait on the the last truck to dump. Went from there back to the home quarry, loaded screenings. Delivered them to Hutchinson, and yep had to shovel some. However not very much compared to what it usually is. Then loaded sand at Hutch, brought back to the hot-mix plant about 10 mi west of our shop. Then pre-loaded rock to take to Great Bend in the morning. Done all that with 45 mins left on my 14.

Oh the driver I was running with and I did take about 15 mins at the Flyin Hook in Emporia. He had to buy another headset, and my coffee got cold. When we were ready to leave, I shot through the fuel island, the wrong way. Hey... no other trucks coming, and straight shot to highway. The heck with trying to twist and turn trying to get out. That was my first time, and probably my last time stopping there. I hate those teeny T/S.
