I'm at just under 1100 for the week paid... Been sitting almost 24 hrs after doing a 250 mile load and sitting for 49 hrs before that... This is getting to be more than frustrating.

 

Going to the walmart dedicated account later this month. gonna be running out of Red Bluff,Ca so pretty excited about that since ill be close to home and all drop and hook. had to do another san rafael run this morning at 2 am. really glad its over just waiting for the end of the month and hoping that the walmart account is all ive heard its cracked up to be

 

Here in Mendota, IL. After mt this morning, did a MAC 30 since I could not get a pplan because the system had me deliverying on the 10th and not the 9th, and two loads pop up. Both of them, 1500 miles, same delivery location. You could tell it was a plus 1, pu at 0700 on the 10th and del on the 12th at 0900. One of those, enough time to drive and sleep. Turns out that they were ready to pu today. Going to KC in Del Rio. Pretty sure that I can get a load right out of there. Once get to TX, it is going to be a long drive all the way down 277 to Del Rio. At least the load is light, but not fun in these NE winds. I was hoping for a short one to end the week, but I will take a 1500 to begin the week, and can del Thursday evening.

 

Finally got the phantom load taken off my truck, sent Mac 30 see a nice 300 mile run picking up down the road at the Walmart (hmmm) going to the final. This is all happening in the early AM, delivery is set for 2300 same day. So I don't want to start too early as my 14 would have run out, so lounged around, got a nice breakfast, and shower walk the dog many times, basically killing time. Then the qualcomm lights up with a triple exclamation red message asking if I'm ever going to repower this load today as the driver has been waiting for 3 hours already. Right away I was thinking boohoo, I've been waiting 3 days already.

So I get to the Walmart they specified and the guy isn't there. Sent a message to triple red exclamation girl, she gives me the guy's phone number now. Was that too difficult to do the first time? I mean I didn't even know this was a repower, after all it came off Mac30. So turns out the guy is 22 miles away at some rest area broke down and does not want/need my empty trailer. The hits just keep on coming. All for lack of communication on the driver leader's part. Anyway I'm here at the final now, lumper is unloading but they haven't given me their EIN number nor lumper service name yet, not sure if Swift will authorize an xcall lumper pay without those.

 

Tcalled in MT ... p/u tomorrow morning then head for CA.

 

Tulsa, OK. Tomorrow long day. Need to find a truck stop about 60 miles north of Del Rio. Be playing with the new smart phone tonight and the new apps that I put on it. Could not believe when I was in MO and here in OK, fuel prices the same as when I topped off in IL, $4.08

 

Fontana...at the terminal...finished off a nice week..and good start on next week...if I survive going to compton to pick up tommorrow..

 

did another sacramento and stockton run today. short hauls again have tomorrow off and then headed to denver most likely friday. also got to woodland this morning and my trucks gone WTF!!! someone took it yesterday afternoon to san jose and apparently it was soooo long of a drive he had to pull over in Benicia to sleep last night. soo i had to find a loaner truck to take today. So glad all my stuff was in MY truck and i didnt have any of it today not even gloves. then was breaking the seal on the trailer and put a nice deep cut in my thumb so now my texting skills are diminished lol. Hate people thinking they can just jump in my truck whenever they please
