Port Newark, Nj again.. if NJ wasn't such a garbage place (atleast this side of it) i'd find a rental down here somewhere so i could be home every other night. Loading for Canada in the morning.

I can feel a difference now that my load planner is gone (laid off from company)... :biggrin_2557: and my dispatcher... he may be going insane.... doing his job + hers... :biggrin_2552: Saw a co-employee today and asked her opinion about our load planner being gone.... And she answered, "it's all messed up now..." :biggrin_25513: Dropped my load in Atlanta... Will have another load to p/up tomorrow.... Ran to shipper but was told, it hasn't been scheduled yet.... So, I came to a truck stop 4 miles from shipper which is very close to Atlanta. There are many fast food places, and lots of businesses around here. I guess this place may get very full in the evening. Got me an easy-out spot (so I hope)... But I may not need to leave very early tomorrow... This truck stop doesn't charge but asks drivers to register at fuel desk in order to get permission to park and avoid being towed. I hear in the radio that a tractor trailer overturned causing Hickory Flat Rd./Hwy.140 ramp to 575 to be blocked, mulch spilled on the roadway... I used to live in Atlanta... It's amazing.... everyday there are accidents involving tractor trailers in this city.... but no wonder... I see may tractor trailers, most are day cabs running on 285 like they are in a speedway...

You weren't too far behind me. I leave out from home about 0445, and get to work about 0630.
