I'm still at the same truck stop I was yesterday, 4 miles from shipper. Supposed to p/up today but appointment hasn't been set yet...Load planner was laid off last week... I was supposed to p/up another load in FL tomorrow after I deliver this one that wasn't p/up yet. But considering the time, don't think it will be possible. So, I called shipper in Florida and explained the situation. They thanked me for that and asked me to let them know when I can be there so they can reschedule and avoid being charged... I am just a little concerned about what will happen with this account... and I just hope that with time, everything will be ok again.... don't know...

 

back at the port again.. loaded yesterday for Canada, went up, delivered, made it a few miles north of pa state line on I81 and pulled into rest area for nap. Forgot my CB was on and started hearing a bunch of talk about state troopers, paid it no mind.. Wake and start to put my #### on and i get a knock on my door. Sure enough it was a state trooper.. they were setting up the Temp Weigh Station in the rest area and he wanted to know if i was about to leave.. I said yep and fired it up, did a walk around and then sat in my chair doodling on a scrap piece of paper and then drover off.
