Looks like changing my route again. After looking at the truck stop directory, going to have to go as far as Flaggstaff before start north. The routing that I have, the last truck stop that I can find is just before Shiprock in NM. Then will still have 400 miles of those nasty two lanes up there. This will add 30 miles to my route, but at least a place that I can sleep tomorrow evening. If somebody knows something different, I am all ears, but staying off all of that 2 lane, the 30 miles will seem like nothing time wise.

Well cashing in on fuel prices has cost me my load ... PP 19K so I filled up at $3.72 ... load turned out to be 43.6K and front loaded ... couldn't bring the weight in and shipper is gone for the weekend, had to tcall at Memphis for a lighter truck ... so here I sit NLO.

Surprised that Memphis could not have re-worked the load that some weight could have been taken off the front end. Yeah, those Pro-Stars can be heavy

Where are you headed to? If your going through us-191/us-491 through colorado/utah if so there are tons of places to stop, ute mountain truckstop near cortez co, the truckstop in monticello ut, or if you make it Green River Ut has a great stop also. I know the Old scale in Shiprock has parking also there are couple of rest areas along the way to Moab ut.

Currently sitting in Lancaster killing time until tomorrow and heading to Laredo for monday then hopefully pull a JIT load out of there.

Correction, those older Prostars can be heavy... My new 2013 prostar is about 1500lbs lighter than my 2007. Mostly because of the smaller MaxxForce13 engine.

He's heading to Hurricane, UT... All those stops are a but out of route... I think going through Flagstaff is your best bet. There is a small TS on the North side of Flagstaff right hand side goin north on US-89.

Stuck in Columbus with a broken truck. Swift tried to fix it but in the end I had to take the truck to Freightliner. Lost 2 loads because of it, won't know til morning when I can get my truck back.

What's worse is that I only have 892 miles for the week and just put 112 gallons onboard this morning.

    When it rains it pours.
