I'm in PA. Just a little light rain and a slight wind. Nothing to worry about.

are you on crack? LOL. just sitting in the yard i couldn't help but think that from the motion of the cab i should have had a fishing pole in my hands. it was rocking that much just sitting there. HOPEFULLY the office will be open tomorrow. since i can't get to Lincoln for my final orientation, they're having me do it in NK. Good news is that by the time i get a truck, sandy should be long gone and Canada's problem.

Us Acklie drivers are wusses. That's why we're here at the Days Inn.

As far as putting in your fuel level in the system...the replies to tell them you are 1 number lower has always worked for me as well. Especially when it comes to the winter blend of fuel. For some reason these Maxxfarce engines are more sensitive to the winter blend than previous engines. In the summer, I get 7 to 8 mpg...With the winter blends I've been getting, if I get into the 6's I am doing good.

As for me, it ended up being the clutch master cylinder. They originally told me slave cylinder, but once I got my truck back I noticed a new master cylinder. Unless both were bad. Either way, I got out of N. Platte, NE International dealer Tuesday afternoon and picked up a load of Masonite doors going to Lockwood, MO for Thursday...then headed to Joplin to pick up some dog food headed to Midway, TN. Even with the 3 days in the shop, I cleared 2160 miles. Once empty in Midway, they sent me to Newport, TN going to Harrisonville, MO for Sunday. Then up to Lee's Summit, MO to pick up pasta for a 2 stop. Monday in N. Little Rock, Tuesday in Birmingham. I am trying to get home so I can get my Thuderbolt replaced and vote next week...on the way between N. Little Rock and Birmingham, I was preplanned on a load from the Culman, AL area to Carrolton, GA...and I'm guessing that I'll be headed to Social Circle for my get home load from there. Even with my 3 days in the shop, I still managed to turn over 11k for this month...not sure how, it sure doesn't feel like I've run that hard. So, like him or not, my AM is still keeping my YTD monthly avg over 10k.

I managed to find some free local WIFI while delivering in Birmingham...with luck I'll have the remodeling done to the Supersnackbar and will be open for regular business after this hometime...until the next smart phone blows, burns or gets broken. I think I am harder on smart phones than I am on AM's.

I did speak to another driver the other day who claimed that there is a possibility that we are going to be testing Kenworth's. I heard that a while back from someone else. It may just be a rumor and someone's wishful thinking...but one can only hope given the less than stellar performance we've been getting out of these Briggs and Stratton powered Cornfield Caddy's so far.

    C'yall later

No doubt you are, I spent the night on the yard after running up here empty from Greencastle PA. Never had a bit of problem with the wind.
I finally told them I'd take a reset and be ready Wed. morning. I've logged 15.25 hours since Saturday. Oddly they sent me a 130 mile deadhead for a 669 mile load. Back to work for their most valuable asset

    Creffer doesn't use volvo's. they're all freightshakers and pro-stinks.

Huh? Not Crete/Shaffer and Volvo. That might actually be better than the ProStar/MaxForce combo...:)

Morning Jim , Hope all is well . He's at the swift class in Laredo TX. I have been reading the form for a couple of weeks and have seen some reports from drivers about there Volvo's breaking down a lot , its a shame since they make a great car.
