Houston, TX. Dropped the load and MAC 30, all crap, Baytown to Search, Channelview to Terrel and some chemical plant to IN. Nothing getting me home. Thought about the Searcy but it was taking a chance on Friday evening getting home.

Howdy y'all! I just dropped back in to check on you all. I see everybody's still here and doing pretty good. Wanted to make sure you all were still safe and sound and not trapped in the northeast. After Fred made it through orientation at Melton, he decided that he didn't feel like he had enough training on strapping the loads down and they had asked him to violate his logs 3 different ways before he picked up the first load, so he said "thanks, but no thanks" and moved on to a local delivery job. He's driving a beer truck everyday and home every night. Glad to have him here. You all stay safe. I'll check back in before long.

It was up in the NW side in Indiana. Not a hop, skip and jump. Plus, 45K and del on Mon. Still getting this darn Baytown to Searcy. I know that there is better come morning. I have a feeling that they will be sending me this one in a PPLAN. Hope that the planner remembers in the morning the large favor that I did for him last week, giving up a Portland ld to a company driver so that he could get home.

Ok ... stil in Phoenix. New truck had an air leak and the crack Phoenix shop tema has been on the case since 1130 ... should be done before midnight.

Still have to transfer from the old to the new truck then get over to Inland and have them put in a fridge and inverter.

OK AR border on I40 trying to get home to Cali. Had a load offer earlier for Los Angeles, pick up at 0200, but the special comments down below say the place closes at 2130 every day, Umm Mr(s) Planner? So I turned down with a pickup time of 0500 they removed the load offer but I guess it was still active because I got the "we see you read the message...." and Mac 30 showed pending load offers-- weird. I hate to start my 14 hour clock and go over to their locked gate 12 miles away. Maybe they will offer it again when the planners come in.

Scotty, I ran into the same situation only to find out I could have picked it up after hours as they had provisions for 24 hr pickup. Problem is they never seem to actually tell you this in the PP, you have to figure it out.

Didn't realize that you needed to be a detective to do this job did you! :)
