I have a question about the Walmart loads. Do they usually have multiple stops? I am about to go back to Swift after 8 years. I was OTR but got put on Walmart runs several times out of the local grocery DC (Grandview, WA) as well as a few months out of the Redding, CA DC. Everytime I had a Walmart run, it was a drop and hook at the store. The only time I wasn't in and out of a store was waiting for about 5 hours at the Oakland, CA store waiting for them to empty a trailer before I could hook onto it.

Yes anywhere from 1 stop to 7stops(stores+backhauls) which adds up quick, each stop at a store u must go inside store and pull stickers off the pallets for that store and keep track do u don't miss any other wise you'll be going back after the last store

10 min to an hour per store depends a lot on how fast they let you in best to call before docking I've spent 45min waiting and they came quick when ai called the DC and some stores are just slow, it's there job to unld u as soon as u arrive no matter what

I recently did one of those Walmart multistop loads, the planner dude told me to pull off all the stickers, affix them to the paperwork and leave the paperwork at the last stop. I missed some of the stickers because the fools stuck them to the shrinkwrap, so didn't have enough time to get it off before the 5 pallet jack dudes ran off with the pallets. Left the paperwork on the desk of the last stop, the manager acted like he didn't know what I was talking about, leaving the paperwork there, oh well, I got paid anyway. I think they need to come up with a better system for accounting delivery than playing lick and paste stickers trick game. Maybe give the driver a scanner thing to flash the rfid tag on each pallet and have the manager's thumbprint at the end of the load to confirm delivery.

Not the last stop the paper goes back to dc with the trailer and u get them stickers and make them wait ya they do that #### to me to but ai just rip the whole tag and wrap off in all and stick it to the paper and let dc figure it out, scanner would be nice, stickers are a joke specially when so don't even get a sticker a times
