Witchita, KS. After todays mess, they are having me do a live load in the morning, then t-call in E.St. Louis. What a waste of 2 days. 250 mt miles for a 445 ldd mile load. I will say, by the time that I get to the drop yard, if I do not have a pplan that is picking up a pldd trlr in the area that is going to Columbus or the near vicinity, and I mean the near vicinity that will drop on Wednesday, I will be pulling a Scottie tomorrow evening, bt home. In all the times that I have been to that yard, I have never found a mt trailer, and I am not in the mood to chase one down.
Good night from...

At The Ute Mountain Travel Center, just south of Cortez, CO on US-160/491. Second night here. Delivered to an Aaron rents in Cortez with a final stop in Durago. Grabbed a load headed back to Phoenix (off of Mac 30) only to realize the shipper required a 2003 and I didn't have one. So now I'm picking up a load of potatoes tomorrow in Farmington, NM headed to Goodyear, AZ.
After I unload I'm gonna head back to the Phoenix terminal in hopes that I can snag a t-called load that delivers on Wednesday to I won't have a red ink week. -
Abby and I got to talk to Steve in Phoenix terminal Sunday after we dropped tcall. Planner was offering a load with just barely 8 hours break for me which I turned down flat beings, I was tired after 507 miles straight into PHX plus we all know that you still have to go through safety lane and scale nazxi, plus I was supposed to be *home* Sunday so was resolved to just rest up and bobtail home.
This planner was like a pitbull, kept sending me the preplan over and over again, filling up my inbox with it because I failed to put a 'reason' why turning it down. I sent another mac 9, Nowith a blasted out pickup time, next thing I knew I had a Load Assignment. I believe I just got force dispatched lol. It's OK, gets me home under a paying load at least. Running almost 10 MPG on this load too, very light.inkeper and SteveH85396 Thank this. -
here in E. St. Louis. today sent the same pplan 7 times, the 1st 6 times, said that the weight was 46.7K. Refused due to weight and at time of appt, was out of hours. The 7th time it was sent, the weight all of a sudden dropped to 44k. A wal-mart load, and they never cut fr8. Then a pplan, 150 mt to take 217 miles, Scottsville, KY. Not home. Then Sikeston, MO to Washington, CH, (Mac 30) and then st peters to springfield, MO. Finally ended up with Union, MO to Napoleon, OH, light mt can load, but now can not get home until the 8th. The wife is going to be ticked. Ld del in Napoleon, but will not have enough hours to get home from there, 160 miles. Not even POV, liine 5, unless I can do 2 hours line 3, and then Line 5. Not sure about that. I can B/T out.

Chilling in Santa Nella Ca, decided to pull up 99 miles short so I have a full complement of hours for the live unload and getting back out to the Valley after delivery in Oakland.
Excellent fuel economy on this load, I have to say the road from Phoenix to LA is a very smooth relaxing ride now that the road has been repaved. I had been so long since I did that run, and my mind thought there were mountains in between like on 40 coming into Cali-- pleasant surprise lol.
The other night for the time change I drove right through it and took a pic on the elogs.Attached Files:
