I park mine over in Pinellas Park. $10/night or $100/mo. Gated, cameras, and a person lives there (security.) Let me know if you're interested

There is also a closed truckstop on 301 just north of I-4. They kept the parking lot open and they charge to park. I believe it is $10 for 24 hrs. Have parked there several times and never had a problem.

Look on google maps on US19 about a 1/4 mile south of 688 (Ulmerton Rd.) on the southbound service road is a private secure truck lot just for drivers on hometime. I'm sure it costs but sometimes you have to do it. It's a tax deduction. It's right behind Continental Inn. From the map zoomed out you'll see "Club V" somewhat across the street.

There is also a Volvo dealer south of there.

South and east of there on 118 North is McMullen Oil which might be a possibility. All down that road is all kinds of possibilities. I see about 20 business I might ask. You'd be surprised one might say sure go ahead and park in that corner.

In IL I had to pay $50 a month for secure parking. I use to park free at a small diesel shop until it burnt down.

We parked our rig at the Flying J in Dade City for a week without any problems what so ever.

The Flying J is all fine and dandy but what happens if you get home at 2300 and the lot is full? Do you just put off going home for the night and park on an off ramp? Where do you park your personal vehicle if you don't have someone to shuttle you around? Just because someone says that have parked somewhere "with no problems" doesn't mean you will have the same results. Anytime you park and leave your stuff unattended you can count on it being broken into. Luckily for me I've never driven for a company that didn't have a yard within 10-50 miles of my house.

    tampa covers a large area,

could you narrow it down a bit...?

Thanks for all of the suggestions...as for narrowing it down, Plant City to the east, Spring hill/Inverness to the north, southern Hillsborough County (not quite to Bradenton) to the south, and Pinellas is fine. I would prefer not to leave it unsecure...not that I don't trust people, but, I don't trust people, and yes, I am responsible for the rig.
