Never served myself but after working a year at ECP4 on Kandahar Air Field as a civilian I can tell you these guys and gals are a true inspiration for the future of this land. I respect them and for all of their sacrifices I thank them!

On my Fleets Review the darn MMR was wacko! It showed I only average 6790/miles a month. I assured Ms. T that was incorrect. She averaged my last three months (my very best by far..haha) at 11,150 and she was impressed. Plus I did get another portfolio/binder thing!

good/bad news. They said at orientation last week that they're going to test allowing pets again on the shaffer side of things. should get the company wide memo around the end of the month on that one.

They must be having a hard time keeping the empty trucks filled. It's not like Crete's suits to reverse a decision, no matter how unpopular it was. I wonder what's next, 65 mph again???

    Crete Carrier Upgrades Rider Policy
Crete Carrier Corporation is proud to announce new changes to the Rider Policy. Crete has always been one of the more driver friendly rider policies in the trucking industry, allowing specific family members to ride along at no cost to the driver. In an effort to further accommodate our drivers, the policy has changed to include more adult opportunities to be authorized passengers. See the new changes below in bold, and as always, if you have questions please feel free to discuss with our Recruiting Team at 800-998-2221.

    • Spouse, which includes “common law” spouse where permitted by law
    • One child, stepchild, foster-child, niece/nephew, or grandchild 4 years of age or younger, provided they are accompanied by the non-driving spouse or adult
    • One child, foster-child, stepchild, niece/nephew, or grandchild 5 through 18 years of age, without the non-driving spouse or adult
    • One adult 19 years or older

This is possibly the most inflammatory, insensitive thing I have ever seen posted on the Internet. Except for the goatse guy (was that you???) Congratulations, you have taken public discourse to a new low. Thing is, anyone can get a JOB. For some people, however, a JOB isn't enough. My friend Benjamin Smith was a Navy SEAL. My cousin Angela was a driver in the Army. Both of them - and everyone else who has ever worn the uniform - is a better person than you. Geesh.

I realize everybody has there own opinion, but it is also my opinion to inform you that I find your words very disrespectful to me. A little about myself so you can feel where I am coming from. I served and retired after 20 years in the Army, 4 combat tours in Iraq, some of my fellow Soldiers were disfigured for life or made the ultimate sacrifice. I also served as honor guard on numerous occasions for the Soldiers burial and when I presented the flag to the widow or next of kin I never had a dry eye. Tucker I hope you can see that some people raise their right hand and serve our country for the greater good.
