It's up on the northwest coast of California. I brought a load down out of Canada through Idaho Washington and Oregon . It's a nice scenic run. Get to come through Colombia river gorge then down the coast of Oregon and California . Very nice but hilly and slow winding roads in Oregon to the coast and lots of 20 and 30 mph curves and some short but steep hills to go up and down on the 101 south of Reedsport Oregon.

On one hand brand new stuff is sweet.... Nice seats with no butt dents and such.

But there is a LOT to be said for a solid old truck!! I could not see driving a 2010+ as long as my '03 RAM keeps on truckin!

I THINK were I to win a lottery or something I would try to find a nice pre EGR or DEF truck and fix whats broke and drive it!

The good old days... when PA roads could take a cup out of the cupholder! When idling up a Cummins to a steady speed in winter was akin to a black art, and done with a gouging stick. And who doesn't miss the sound of a cold Detroit, as it blew smoke rings into the crisp morning air? Hadddddddrrrrrrroooommm...
    Hadddddddrrrrrrroooommm...Hadddddddrrrrrrroooommm!

Rolling along near ToC, NM, with my last shift over an hour ago and the cruise set, not missing huge parts of the good ol' days...
