You just reminded me hehe, last week when I emptied out and set my PTA for 7 days thence, got home (3 days late) and popped the brakes, my qualcomm and cell phone blew up, some planner in PHX desperately needed me to do a repower lol. UMMM YA

What all are they doing to your new truck? By the way, brilliant doing it this way, demanding everything gets fixed during the 30 day Swift pay deal. Looking back on my own first 30 days, had my truck in the shop 11 days out of that time, came to find out all they really did was put bandaids on it to get me past that 30 day mark.

I will be in Suck Lick City on Friday morning. I could be there tomorrow afternoon, but I want to stop in West Wendover and throw the dice across the table for a while....

Used a gallon of coolant between Phoenix and Sacramento ... As soon as I got the truck home I took it to my dealer - I've been working with them for 2 years - had diagnostics run on every system.

That and I knew going in, buying a used company Prostar, that there were going to be issues with the cooling system. As a matter of policy, Swift overfills the coolant resevoirs ... if you're lucky it'll continually blow the pressure cap. Eventually though it either blows out the EGR cooler or the radiator.

I accepted a 180 mt to 1300 loaded. Grabbed the first mt I came to in the SLC yard, smelled strongly of salsa. Swept it out etc, rolled down to Sapps for fuel and washout however the washout didn't open til 0700, pickup was 0800 180 miles out. I figured there might be a washout on the way up-- nope. Murphy's Law states that when thou takest the 180 mt mile load, therest will not be any washouts available and the shipper is guaranteed to reject said trailer. Plus the shipper just closed for the weekend so it just keeps getting better and better. Even if I get away without a service failure, will likely have to eat 360 miles getting back to SLC for another load sometime this weekend.
