At home after a long day spending my man's hard earned cash... That said we do have buy clothes for the kids not just feed them. Have a ton of cleaning to do since it's only roughly 2 days home for him from Nor Cal, can't have him think I do nothing while he is gone. I am also making the shopping list for our Thanksgiving Feast... I am going crazy this year, Roast duck, with dressing, sliced roasted potatoes, braised cabbage and something for dessert.. I am thinking Cheescake Factory any thoughts? I hope the rest of you have good plans... If you're not with family and in Phx, you're welcome to join us.

 

Beckley, wv service plaza

 

I've been to the Beckley plaza a few times, worked all over Wva for the R.R., if you ever get the chance run old 61 George Washington Highway, ( what they used before the turnpike ) it is great run.

 

Fontana terminal for the night, deliver my load tomorrow night to Safeway in Tempe, AZ then 5 days off!

 

At the TA in Greenwood,LA for the night. Then in the mornin picking up a load in Tallulah, LA then delivering to Miami,FL. Then back up to Jacksonville,FL to pick up a load then up to Greensboro,NC. After that I'm headin to Charlotte,NC to spend some time with the family for Thanksgiving.

What's a hyper focus ld??

 

I think it just means your truck load is being watched more closely for things like staying on the route, moving minimum 200 miles from pickup location before shutting down, things of this nature. I hauled one several months ago and a couple weeks later got a phone call chastising me for shutting down 195 miles from pickup. I had pulled over about 1700 for an 8 hour sleeper break rather than drive later on into the night and have trouble finding a parking spot. Anyway, since that time I have been offered no more high value hyper focus loads.

Southside Chicago tonite, will be in Ohio in the morning, looking for a nice long run to keep me moving over the holiday.
