Call me a rookie if you want to, i am one after all... but i had the choice to sit on a load for the weekend going into the Bronx, or go play with the wally world drivers for a week. Next time i have this same choice to make i'll just slit my own wrists, it'll be less painful. In the past 48 hours i've driven a grand total of 350 miles. When i got to the DC to "orientate" on how to play wally world driver, i had 9:30 left on my clock for the day. The DAM told me to take a 10 and they'd run me all night. As it turned out i only got a single 150 round tripper that night, then got squat saturday, and a 200 mile round tripper today. so here i sit in the golden arches using free wifi and contemplating what choice words to say to my fleet manager monday to get me out of this hell. instead of 500 miles a day average, i've not even cleared that in the three days i've been in pots(moker)ville.

^ I was just told that Wally won't have anything for me to do 'til 10:30 tomorrow and I've been here since yesterday morning, but it's okay. I'm just gonna collect my $175 for the next couple of days and I'm not gonna be in any big hurry he does find me something. Heck, I hope they forget about me. I no longer have any incentive to do anything for this company since they won't let me do anything for myself. I hope nobody gets any ideas about me making any heroic end runs once I get released 'cause it ain't gonna happen. Lucy has yanked the ball away from Charlie Brown for the last time and it's her turn to kick. I've just officially become a lazy driver. Screw 'em ...

And as for what I would do if I were put in your situation, I wouldn't let my A/M forget the mis-information she tried to make you believe about doing the Wally fleet. Anytime she'd send any info, I would immediately reply a message asking her if it was true, or just another snow job...I would annoy, aggravate, irritate, pester, prod, and find anything possible to get under her skin, and wouldn't let up on her until she was sobbing every time my name was mentioned...I have a heart, until I get screwed...then it's time to put my SOB PhD into action!!!!! And I can be a ruthless person if the buttons are pushed...but that's me. I can't advise anyone else to do it like I do.
When my A/M tried to convince me to do Bartlesville last month with the quote of how good people are doing...my 1st thought was 'are you stoned?'...I am not sure if I ask him that or not, but you can be darn sure that a fill in fleet isn't going to get the best miles, they're gona get the table scraps from the primary fleet, and that is exactly what I said...no way, no how was he going to con me into believing that I would get the kind of miles he claimed.48Packard Thanks this. -
FCW9...just a comment about your picture at the Sig line...I just think the container was trying to breed with the car hauler and make a hybrid overseas car container...just a thought...

If our military was successful I could go to North Vietnam, Iraq and Afganhistan and stroll around safely. I can't do that and you wouldn't take your family and friends there either. Jesse recommended a book called war is a racket by general schmidley something or another. I'll read it shortly and I hope you do to. -
Yeah Pottsville has got to be the worst of the worst WM DC to work out of. Rolling down PA 61 in the fog at night is not much fun. The Philly burbs and NJ WalMarts aren't that much fun either. Watchung, NJ is a real doozy. you have to drive into the building to get to the dock.
I am blacklisted for:
Scratching paint on another truck
Blowing out a tire. Not sure where it happened, but told to give my best guess in the accident report. The rim was NOT bent.
Breaking a fender mirror. Totally my fault.
Getting hit head on by a drunk driver who was driving the wrong way on the interstate (and my DAC lists this as an accident).

To prove I was the one in this accident I posted my DL here.
Breaking the cab extender on my trainer's truck when he had me do a U-turn in the middle of the road, against company policy. He had me lie about what actually happened so it wouldn't affect his record.
I did not get let go until 3 weeks after the last incident. I was at New Kingstown and was told everything was OK. Then I refused to run from York, PA to Buffalo during the hurricane. Linda in the Shaffer fleet dept. pitched a fit at me about refusing to run. I called safety and they told me if I didn't feel safe, don't go. They send me up to Buffalo a day later and bring me back down to NK with a load I picked up in Seneca NY headed to OH. I was then told I was terminated.Attached Files:

Now for some comedy relief:
JB Hunt said I could come over there with 6 months no accidents. Fair enough, but I can't get hired by anyone.
C.R. England said they only hire safe drivers and require 5 years accident free to join them. Yeah the beer shot out my nose when I heard that one.
I'm back with the US Postal Service where, unlike trucking we are treated with dignity and respect.... ROTFLMAO! (Well I do make more money and am home every night).
My idiot brother quit driving a week before I lost my ride. He was a O/O at Navajo. He was OTR for about 6 years. USA Truck, Tyson, Greatwide, then Navajo. He said if he had known, he would have brought me on as a co-driver.Ralph4159 Thanks this.
