Yesterday morning I was departing the Harrisburg Pa TA headed to Bethlehem PA to do a drop and hook. I was pulling out of the fuel islands after filling up my reefer when I saw something rather disturbing. I saw a WSE tractor ( my current carrier ) parked in the reserved parking area hooked up to a USA Truck trailer. The only thing I can make of this is my company must be hauling some USA Truck brokered loads. Opinions?
I promise I was not hungover!

Power only

Maybe it is anj4888 put it - a power only. Your company was re-positioning a tractor and saw a power-only load posted on the board from USA Truck that happened to be picking up near the tractor or on it's route to whatever terminal is was going to and decided to make a few bucks at the same time.

When I was at USX we had a CRE pull in a USX trailer to the tunnel hill terminal. If the freight volume is high and the load is.important enough, they'll move it anyway they can

Both companies are being purchased by CR England and will become exclusively lease-purchase operations.
