Oh brother. I've done my morning run.
At SDV I find out nobody answered when they called, so at least two loads are on some other company.
May not have paid to come in today.

 

Still home....don't leave 'til Sunday morning.

(And, as an aside....we went to a relative's home for T'giving yesterday...knew we'd be gone about six hours, so I was careful to check the bedroom before closing the door for any cats left behind. Didn't see any. Upon returning home and opening the door, Oscar, our orange tabby and lone male of the four, calmly walked out of the room, leaving behind some fur on the bed, but nothing else. He resolutely ignored me for the next two hours.)

 

Yes Teddy_Bear... its truly a blessing. Last time I saw him was almost 2 yrs ago and he wasnt as sick as he is now... I am so thankful... cant put in words... I understand how you fill about your beloved one and the unpredictability of life and how delicate it is... Gotta always count our blessings... Will be here for my birthday, Christmas and New Year... Trying to make the best of what it is... I know these weeks will be unforgetable...

 

years ago we had a burglar break into the house. after that the wife had me put locking knobs on every door in the house
a week later i come home she is sitting there crying ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

WHAT NOW I SAY in my best ricky ricardo voice

the cats cant move around the way they want and follow the sun
later that week there were 6 cat doors installed
we are safe from all but cat burglars now

 

Yesterday I went to an open market on the street for groceries, fresh fruits and vegetables....




In the afternoon drove a car to a small village nearby and started training someone who needs to get his drivers license.... The car needed repair so I had it sent to mechanic... I am the one in charge of expenses...

how far is it to a paved road

 

It is a small town but this house is not very far from a paved road. Actually there is a state road just down this street as it cuts thru the town. All the streets in this town are either dirt or paved with stones... kinda cobblestone... It is hot here all year long... no winter... always summer... no ceiling in the houses... we can see the roof tiles from the inside.



So, no air conditioner and bugs can get inside. There were 2 little toads... or frogs... or something similar... in the bathroom last night while I was taking a shower...

You are right about that... Folks in the US take soooooo much for granted....
