I walked in the house at 17:00. About as early as I ever have gotten home.
Had four more runs after the post earlier today. One nice heavy one and three others.

Have a pick up at SDV between 09:00-10:00 that I tried to get out of. Dispatch says he is going to try and make it worth my time. Not usually much Saturday stuff but if we get any I get it.

 

Good thing Oscar wasn't a Grouch I think it's just become the expected norm that you'll leave a cat in the bedroom any time you leave the house. It doesn't sound like Oscar minded keeping the bed company while y'all were gone.

Make the most of what time you have with your Dad. I know it can't be easy for you to see him this way. Keep us up to date when you can and we're here for you if you need us. ~Hugs~

 

Today was just a fustercluck at work, but all I could do was laugh. Had to go to the shipping manager to let them know they still had not loaded 2 of the Sunday loads. It wasn't bad enough they were supposed to have been loaded Tuesday, and each day they kept telling me it was being done by the next shift, or it was going to be done Wednesday, and today it was supposed to be loaded today. I had Tuesday loads and was still waiting, so I finally looked at all the load plans since the beginning of the week, up to today, it wasn't even on the load plan. When I finally asked/told the manager about it, they realized there were 2 Sunday loads that had to be done today. I got a "Good catch" from her. When I left at 1500, they were going to load it on 2nd shift

Made my peach pie when I got home, so I'm that far ahead on tomorrow's meal.

In a different truck as mine is back in the shop...This truck appears to not be governed, or let's say if it is governed I haven't found it yet and I was a look'n a little earlier..

 

Back home as of a few minutes ago. My morning run pretty well well went off without a hitch but nothing else came up. Dispatch says he'll do his best to make it pay and I said I couldn't ask for more.
