Check the local community colleges. Your local unemployment office or local dept. of labor may know also. Phone book yellow pages. Generally a 240 hr. school or longer has more job opportunities than a shorter one.CLICK HERE for a list of trucking companies that hire new drivers

only problem is last summer my driver's license got suspended for 1-2 days (weekend) for failing to enroll for traffic school (for speeding, i only got 2 speeding tickets all my life) -- but i got it sorted/reinstated a following monday
will that hinder me for future trucking employment? -
not as long as you got proof in your hand....
if you don't you might get sent home from orientation.. i've sen that happen.
i was on craigslist for Lex earlier and there was several posts from US Express, and i know Averitt hired someone i know that lived in Bereapinoydriver Thanks this. -

Explain on your application about the ticket. It shouldn't hurt you if you're honest, because they will find out anyway.

i think ima go with them.. its $4000 for 4 week training -- 4 days a week .. talked to the trainer and class is pretty small, 3-5 people per class
