Someone on here said they do.
Here's some that do or part of their fleet is auto:
TransAm
Maverick
Nussbaum
Averitt
Interstate Distributor -
Have you talked to Total Transportation or KLLM, both out of MS.
-
USA does, but was fasing them out last year when I was there. Same as USX (Total transportation and Arnold).
Averitt has them and are adding more, which is unfortunate because that's where I am now. I don't mind automatics, just hate them for backing purposes, which I do a lot wit 3-5 store deliveries a day.Big Chief Thanks this. -
I used auto's with one company & during backing we would feather the brake pedal just like you would feather the clutch pedal during backing. In other words, you have to get the engine RPM's up a little, then play with the brake pedal during backing. This method worked with the Volvo transmissions. I love those auto's.

Any truck number mid 2900 and older is auto shift other than trainer trucks.
-
@ China.. Yes they told me they are looking for experienced drivers.
-
Technically none of the USA Trucks have "Autoshifts" they were all either "Ultrashifts" or standard 10 spds.
J_FROG Thanks this. -
What's the difference?
-
Autoshifts have a clutch pedal. Ultrashifts don't
