I didn't catch the dot number, it was the decals the seemed to look identical to the trucking side. The only difference was that the road trucks are red with white lettering, the one ton was a white truck with the same lettering except it was red lettering. Well any way yall keep it up glad to hear everything is still going good at Poly.

Thanks for the trick JD, I will make sure to grab a clip from the fuel desk before heading out in the morning.

This is not the first time I've received a call from outbound dispatch that late. Plus he apologized it took so long. I had a choice of a five stop to New England, a two stop to Baltimore, a multistop (don't remember how many) to Phoenix, and a few others I don't recall. Figured the three stopper to VA was good enough.

BTW SS, if you can prove you had medical insurance before coming to Poly, the Pre-Existing waiting period might be waived. You would need to obtain from Crete a "CERTIFICATE OF CREDITABLE COVERAGE".

The only thing that will happen when you install a paper clip is your yellow check engine light will stay on(if it's a Detroit Series 60), or at least that was what the older DDEC II ECM's(or maybe it was a DDEC III, I forget) use to do. I had that issue w/one of the last company trucks I drove for Arnold...but it was a '94 or '95 model year.

..better get your app in now or you'll miss the boat SS, went to the POLY website & they only have 2 driver positions open now; you wait much longer & you'll be SOL.. lol..

..just finished reading this entire thread from page 1, started at noon yesterday took at break at 5:30pm for supper & evening news, then got back on to restart at 9:30pm and finally finished at 1:15am.. found it very interesting & informative & would have jumped at the opportunity to work there but I drive local here in Eugene, OR so no OTR experience..

..been thinking about moving to Tucson, AZ for the weather & cheap housing & maybe find an OTR position to get my 1 year of experience in, haven't heard of anyone working POLY from that area, but for me hometime isn't an issue as I'm single & my MVR is clean for as far back as they can go; don't drink so no DUIs or any other problem and staying out for weeks at a time isn't an issue for me..

..and for you POLY drivers it looks like mgmt. has been listening to your complaints about the repair shop in GP because they do have an ad for truck/trailer mechs on their website, so it looks like maybe, just maybe they're finally gonna clean house there!

My wife works in a medical practice it is a govermental Law that as long as you dont go more than 90 days with out coverag and the last company is required to provide you with creditable coverage letter, they can not hold preexisting conditions against you

Made it to Pell City, AL where I am sitting outside of the gate for unloading in the morning. Every time I miss an exit I always end up on some Podunk ### road to get back rerouted. If you ever miss US231 off I-59 I would advise not to take AL174:) Got a backhaul plan that picks up in Hopkinsville, KY and goes to New Braunfels, TX. Not scheduled until Friday afternoon but I am hoping to get it tomorrow and boogie on in to GP and hopefully be allowed to drop it there as it delivers early Sunday morning and get something heading back home. Also got a call today saying to take this truck to the yard and switch over to 3448, one of the Internationals. Only 6 trips this month but averaging over 1350 miles per load so not too shabby.
