bayou i have a real nice goodyear g316 all position i will sell if you could use it.

 

Also check your engine temp. Low engine tempertures are easly overlooked but will kill fuel economy quick as anything. Anything below 180 is not good.
Also if a dealer has been into the computer, it could have low noz files which ####### the timing for better emmisions but will cut fuel.

I have always said trucking is the quickest easiest legal way to make a decent living, so my question is what are you gonna do now?

I imagine it is gonna be kinda rough 20 years sucking that exhaust ... are you gonna turn a wrench, or get a company job

I have all new injectors new turbo that deer took out my air cooler so it has the 10 year bad boy from Detroit radiator I can't find anyone that can fig it out

 

get the ecm tuned. they obviously gave you crap emisions software. there is a guy in ga around jackson that does decent detroit ecm work for a few hundred bucks

 

Mine is a Egr motor.....I've had my ECM tuned by that guy up in Effingham, IL every time I go by there they check it he keeps telling me just to delete my Egr but like I keep saying its always had the Egr on it and life time is 6.4 I've changed the Egr valve, egr cooler,delta-p,turbo,injectors,air cooler,and boots and clamps so what's left also it's been on the dyno twice and stewart and stevenson says it looks good so it's just finding someone that is good on these motors

 

if its egr its not a 12.7 far as i know there is no such motor. my egr detroit never got much more then 5.

 

I keep thinking I'm under powered mine is 455hp/1,550TQ and don't like hills on the dyno it pulls 370/1380

 

is that the diesel dr? he is a hack
