Good night from...

Let's see, came out of North Canton OH to Charlotte NC then to Houston TX from there. Was able to snag a nice load to Columbus OH off mac 30 before emptying out. Had a bunch of problems with lights on the trailer and had to go out of my way to get to the Houston terminal for the fix which is putting the load behind. I still have a light flickering off once in a while, I check it every time I stop, breakdown wanted me to return back 50 miles to the terminal when I had stopped for a quick 2 slices of pizza at Flying Suck. What I have to do is tap the light with a load bar and it comes back on.

Anyway, what is the weather up in Columbus now? When I left OH last time it was snowing, in fact I took an extra day off after my 34 reset it was so bad.

Picked up a load from seattle to memphis today along with 10 other trucks for a 07:00 appt time. bills didn't match so have to wait until tomorrow before a CSR will be back to update the load. But made it to my house for the night so that is a plus.

 

You just reminded me, I had the same problem with my loaded call, the Swift information and the bill of lading delivery address was the same just different cities.

OH and be careful when writing on here what customers you are serving, at least until those loads are completed and off of you.

This one does not state "FCFS". However it has so many "nanny notes" in the comments that I suspect either a new CSR or on that's afraid of his/her job. Since I just snagged a load headed back to AZ that picks up tomorrow night I'm not gonna sweat it. Plenty for me to do here tomorrow morning, I'll show up at the customer an hour early, if they take me GREAT, if not no big deal.

I agree about "being lied to", too many CSRs that treat driver's like brainless robots. That's why I double check EVERY Plus1 time I see.

 

Don't you mean "washless wash"? My black truck comes out of the one in PHX looking worse than before it went in. Last time I was home I vacuumed out the truck then took a wet towel to the floor, looked (and smelled) great.....for about 24 hours.

 

Still at the Loves in Idaho Falls. Took a nap and woke up @ 9:45 PM...OOPS! Since I was up I grapped a cheap McDs meal and managed to snag a load headed home. Delivers in Avondale (same Costco I shop at) Friday morning.

 

Well, sure did not get far today. Was sent a pplan while home and called DM to ask about it and was surprised that I even received one. I was on DOT hold. Well, went to the T/A and found a problem. The front of the drive shaft by the yoke is vibrating. Was told that suggested that get it to KW, so here I am. Before I even got off hold was sent another pplan, DH 160 miles to pu load going 200 miles. I just do not know what is wrong with the planners. On hold and being sent pplans. Now I am sitting here in KW at Columbus. Tomorrow hotel since can not get the truck in until Friday. Hope that will not need to wait until after the weekend if they need to get parts. What really bites, 38 miles from home and no way to get there and then back here.
