Did anyone else not get the memo that they shut down the phoenix terminal????? Went to stop there to get some coolant on the way to Cali, There are still some trailers in the back lot but no more terminal.

Sounds like a downsizing event. I would start to keep an eye out in case you have to jump ship.

We lost Knoxville drop yard too. Not that I was sad to see that one go. It sucked.

Thats funny since Phoenix hasn't really been open that long. Lets see that leaves VB, Vandalia, Roanoke, West Memphis, The itty bitty Denton terminal, And then whatever they have out west. I wouldn't know since They never sent me out west. That was a list of full service terminals that I know of. If you look on a map the full service terminals are not very strategically placed.

Phoenix closed a couple months ago and there was a message sent over the qualcom. There is also a terminal in Carlisle and Atlanta. Phoenix was not being used very much and it only made sense. West coast loads aren't being done by truck due to the price of fuel going up in Cali. You guys should read up a little more before you say something you no nothing about. I been with USA for 7 years now.. its had its ups and downs but things are getting better.

And Knoxville is still a drop yard.... Nashville drop yard had issues, but has been resolved.

Well I didn't get the message over the qc and I know at least 5 others I talked to today that didn't know. I guess only a few fm's sent it out. You think it would have been a company wide message.

Atleast now I know why the Phoenix safety guy now has a desk in west Memphis! LOL
