Hubby is heading to Jackson TN and then hopefully home. He spent Thanksgiving Christmas and the new year in the truck. His one year anniversary will roll around while he is home. Seems like freight is moving better this year.
Good night from...

At home (Buckeye, AZ). Glad I decided to take a 34 as it gave me time to get the driver's side windshield replaced yesterday. Since my truck is in my driveway I can check for loads when I want to and still hang out with the family. Since freight is so short in the west I won't fight getting sent east.

Yes, it was lovely.
I got stacked with 2 plans this morning. The first a t-call load from Mira Loma that delivers 50 miles away tomorrow morning, and the second load going to San Antonio TX.
It seemed from the pplan that I was no longer attached to my mt (a function of the new Mac 1, I suppose), so I left it there at Miller and bobtailed back to Mira Loma. No sense dragging a mt back there if I didn't have to, especially considering the parking at that terminal. So that was sweet.
So I picked up that load and headed for the TA. A shower and good coffee in the morning will be very nice. I'll head out at 0530 to beat most of the traffic for my 0700 delivery. Then it's 'so long SoCal' - hooray!!!
I've been in Wendover, NV a couple times. I like it there.
That truck stop has some very nice showers. And I always like the chance to gamble a bit. -
Still at home, nothing at all on Mac 30 and no preplans either. Guess freight in the west is REALLY SLOW!

Good to see you again. Freight will be slowing down again soon, always does this time of year.

Dropped my JIT load this morning, no empties at the customer. No preplans or anything on mac 30 so just kicked it there bobtail. They had electric pedestals so I just hung my extension cord out the window for some free juice and waited for the trailer to get empty. It wasn't a live unload but I thought I could snag the trailer back pretty quick being's it's a JIT load and all. 9 hours later the trailer was still where I dropped it with both its seals still intact lol. Will check back in the morning.
Had a couple preplans offered, the first one would have paid maybe $20 bucks after fuel and the other one was deadhead halfway across the state. Another one was for a Thursday delivery way up in Calgary. It is Sunday though, will see how things look on big Monday morning here in Kansas City. -
