Gettin' ready to roll out again in the morning. Been a busy few days off.

First, there are two fewer cats for me to lock in the bedroom. We found a good home for our two problem felines (peeing in the house) with a lady in the area that takes cats with issues. She has a nice outdoor place for them where they should thrive. Our vet actually turned us on to her.

Secondly, wifey has found a house she likes, so after checking it out and discussing it further, we've started the process to make an offer on it.

I also ran over a large chunk of concrete in a left-turn lane while we were going to breakfast this morning, and blew out the sidewall of one of the tires on my wife's Accord. We needed new tires anyway. I just tried, and succeeded, to expedite the purchase.

OH...and I'm in Cayce, SC, at this thing called a Pilot.

 

Regina, Sk. Day off today for a reset , maybe home for tommorow night or possibly not. Depends whether I get a load out of here tommorow or go empty. Got a load out of Portage la Prarie headed to Mecca Ca on Thursday.

 

Why don't you just call it what it is - Columbia, SC? Seriously, these fancy names for normal places...

Thought I was in the clear then my phone barely started to ring then missed call. Tried to find some signal (which is tough here at home) then message Head to Conroe ASAP. Took two drums to S. Houston. Then was told to get a 78x55x44 going down to Houston. Sent message asking if it had to be tarped. No response. Finally called and yes it must be. Go find a tarp and a bunch of rubber and then get a call from She Devil saying hook trailer and I'll tell you what to do. As it happens I didn't NEED the trailer today.

The tarp load goes tomorrow morning.

BUT while hooked to trailer out in front of SDV get pick up 80# ctn and deliver NW Houston. JUST what I wanted at 16:15.... NOT! But got it done and didn't have TOO much trouble getting home.

 

Sitting in a dock in Mandan, ND, all ready for my morning unload. Hopefully the morning crew thinks the night crew's decision was a good one.
